Student Agreement

STUDENT AGREEMENT
I understand and agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. I agree that checking the "I Agree to the Terms and Conditions" box and entering my full name in the "Full Name" box, entering a valid e-mail address in the "E-Mail Address" box constitutes an "electronic signature" rendering this Agreement valid and legally binding.
As defined by the Electronic Signature in Global and National Commerce Act

Confirmation
Upon on-line registration, you will receive a receipt confirming your participation in the course. In the event a change occurs, you will be notified via email.

Your enrollment cannot be confirmed until payment is received

Class Size
Class size is limited to 20 participants. Courses fill quickly and are on a first serve basis with payment.

Tuition 
Tuition for the Holistic MLD Certification Course requires a deposit of $500.00, the balance becomes due two weeks before the course begins. Individual courses must be paid in full two weeks prior to the course commencement.

Refund Policy
Certification Course
There is a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 retained for course cancellation if the Institute is notified at least two weeks before the course commences. Cancellations made 13 days before course commences will lose the full deposit of $500.00. No shows, withdrawals or dismissals on the first day of class or thereafter will not receive a refund. However, students can elect to have their deposits transferred to another MLD Institute Certification Course for an administrative fee of $150.00 when taken within one calendar year.

Individual MLD Course(s)
Cancellations made two weeks prior to the course are refunded in full with the exception of a $25.00 administrative handling fee. Optionally, the attendee may wish to have funds forwarded to another MLD Institute course in their area. No shows are charged the full amount of the course with no refund. Withdrawals in the middle of class due to emergency may take their course at another time with an additional $25.00 administrative fee.

Attendance Policy
The MLD Institute requires full attendance for the duration of the course. If more than 4 hours of the certification course is missed, the eligibility to sit for the exam is forfeited unless these hours are made up. Students taking the individual course studies must also make up any time if more than 30 minutes has been missed.

Course Cancellations
In the event a course is cancelled, student funds will be forwarded to a "make up" course for the one that was cancelled at no additional charge to the student.

MLD Institute Certification
The MLD Institute cerifies professionals in the therapeutic use of Holistic MLD to work with a variety of condition. Certification does not grant participants to teach and certify others with out further Jr. Instructor training of the Institute.Instructors must exceed certification standards with: hands on practice, documenting outcomes, evidence-based research, community service and instructor involvement within the institute.
